Re-enrollment is now open for returning families for the 2024-2025 school year. Please check your Parentsweb for your re-enrollment packet.

Applications for new families will be open on March 1st, 2024. Please be sure when applying that you are using the application for the 2024-2025 school year, otherwise, you will have to refill it out. Once you have filled out an application, you will be called to schedule your child for a placement evaluation and family interview. Thank you!

  • STEP 2: The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule an Entrance Evaluation for your student.

Age Requirements for ACS Early Education Programs

To be enrolled in an ACS kindergarten program, a child shall be at least five years of age prior to September 1st, of the school year in which they are enrolling. New Mexico state statute requires students of the appropriate age to enter a kindergarten program in a public school, private school, home school, or a state institution. Children moving to Albuquerque who have been in a kindergarten program in other areas and who were five years of age after September 1st, of the enrolling year are not eligible for entry into the kindergarten program.
