Head of School/Principal

Albuquerque Christian School (ACS) is actively seeking a new Head of School/Principal who is ready to join us in our pursuit of excellence. ACS actively teaches all subjects from a biblical worldview, challenges students to become critical thinkers, and embodies a family environment. Our next leader will be a visionary who engages students and families, leads with integrity, and builds lasting partnerships in the community God has called us to serve.

In order to understand a more complete picture of who you are, your leadership skills, experience and strengths, please provide us with a written response to the following:

  1. How did you come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and what has that relationship looked like since then?
  2. How do you keep your relationship with Christ alive? Highlight a few situations where your faith impacted your growth as a leader.
  3. Share two or three experiences in your professional life where you implemented a change or led an innovation that advanced the missions of your organization
  4. As a Christian school leader you are expected to be an educator, a business leader, and a spiritual leader for the school community; please indicate your strengths in each of these leadership roles and how you have, or how you would like to, keep these expectations in balance.
  5. Relate a few of your experiences working with a Board of Directors and particularly how you have, or would like to, work with the Board in strategically developing a vision for the future of ACS.

Pre-K - 8th Grade Art Teacher

Albuquerque Christian School is a faith-based grade school seeking a Pre-k through 8th-grade art teacher. The Teacher is responsible for instructing the students in the appropriate subject areas in coordination with the current curriculum and within the framework of ACS and state content standards.

Part Time Spanish Teacher

Albuquerque Christian School is a faith-based grade school seeking a Pre-k through 8th-grade part time Spanish teacher. The Teacher is responsible for instructing the students in the appropriate subject areas in coordination with the current curriculum and within the framework of ACS and state content standards.

Pre-K - 8th Grade Music & Drama Teacher

Albuquerque Christian School is a faith-based grade school seeking a Pre-k through 8th-grade music and drama teacher. The Teacher is responsible for instructing the students in the appropriate subject areas in coordination with the current curriculum and within the framework of ACS and state content standards.

Substitute Teacher

Albuquerque Christian School is a faith based, PK3 through 8th grade school seeking substitute teachers who are passionate about working with children and their families. Substitute Teachers perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability and applicants must complete a background check. Immediate start date.

Ram Club Attendant

Ram Club is our before and after care program at Albuquerque Christian School. Ram Club attendants must meet all qualifications set forth in the regulations governing child care centers. The qualified applicant must be 18 years of age. Completion or willingness to complete the NM 45-hour class is also required. The Ram Club attendant will report to the Ram Club lead/Ram Club director.

Duties:
1. Monitor activities of children at all times.
2. Perform tasks assigned by the Ram Club lead/Ram Club director.
3. Expected to work when scheduled; changes are to be arranged with the Ram Club lead.
