Albuquerque Christian School is a faith based, PK3 through 8th grade school seeking a Kinder-8th grade Music teacher who is passionate about working with children and their families. A Bachelor’s degree with proper teaching licensure and endorsements is required. Hold or able to obtain ASCI Certification is a must. Experience in instructing students in a classroom setting is preferred. Working knowledge of the subject matter assigned, classroom management, best practices and strategies, as well as the understanding of diverse student learning styles and needs is required. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Sheets and Google Documents. Must have excellent planning skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and able to adapt to changing environments and priorities. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work productively and meet benchmarks and goals in a timely fashion. Strong interpersonal, organizational, facilitation and management skills are required.
Albuquerque Christian School is a faith based, PK3 through 8th grade school seeking substitute teachers who are passionate about working with children and their families. Substitute Teachers perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability and applicants must complete a background check. Immediate start date.
Ram Club Attendant
Ram Club is our before and after care program at Albuquerque Christian School. Ram Club attendants must meet all qualifications set forth in the regulations governing child care centers. The qualified applicant must be 18 years of age. Completion or willingness to complete the NM 45-hour class is also required. The Ram Club attendant will report to the Ram Club lead/Ram Club director.
1. Monitor activities of children at all times.
2. Perform tasks assigned by the Ram Club lead/Ram Club director.
3. Expected to work when scheduled; changes are to be arranged with the Ram Club lead.
